About Our Sunday School
190/9-AL (1) Sunday School provides a loving and Christ-centered environment where children learn about Jesus Christ and His saving Gospel.
Under the guidance of Mr. Irfan Sohail, 50 children between the ages of 4 and 14 gather regularly to hear God’s Word, sing songs, pray, and participate in interactive Bible learning activities.
Children are taught the truths of the Holy Bible through Bible stories, memory verses, songs, prayer, and creative activities. They learn about God’s creation, Jesus’ love and forgiveness, prayer, Christian living, and kindness toward others.
Our Sunday school follows a structured syllabus of 18 green booklets, which guides children step by step through key Bible teachings.
Additionally, seasonal Bible stories are included during Christmas, Easter, and other church seasons to help children understand the life and work of Jesus throughout the year.
Children are encouraged to develop healthy church habits such as:
- Praying
- Listening attentively to God’s Word
- Participating in worship
- Bringing a small offering as a way of expressing gratitude to God
Our aim is to help every child grow in faith, love, and knowledge of the Gospel so they always remember:
“Jesus loves me, and I belong to Him.”
Lutheran Teaching About Children
In the Lutheran Church, children are cherished members of God’s family.
Through hearing God’s Word, the Holy Spirit works faith even in young hearts, making early instruction in Scripture essential.
Jesus said:
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

The reformer Martin Luther emphasized that parents and teachers have the sacred responsibility to instruct children in God’s Word, so they may grow in faith and remain rooted in Christ.
Through Sunday school ministry, the church continues this mission by guiding children to Know Christ, Trust His promise and Grow as faithful followers of Jesus.
