The CELC Skill Center Ministry is a vital outreach of our church, dedicated to empowering individuals—especially young girls and youth—with practical skills, spiritual guidance, and opportunities for a better future.
In many underserved communities, access to education and employment opportunities is limited. Through this ministry, we seek to address these challenges by equipping individuals with useful, income-generating skills, while also nurturing their spiritual growth in Christ.
Our Vision
Our vision is to see individuals become self-reliant, confident, and grounded in faith, using their skills to support their families and serve their communities.
Skills Training Programs
At our Skills Training Centers, participants receive hands-on training in:
- Sewing and Dress Making
- Embroidery and Handcrafts
- Creative Design and Practical Crafts
These skills enable students to:
- Start small home-based businesses
- Contribute financially to their households
- Develop confidence and independence
Youth Skills Workshops
In addition to regular training centers, we organize skills development workshops for youth, focusing on:
- Practical and marketable skills
- Basic vocational training
- Personal development and responsibility
These workshops help young people discover their abilities and create pathways for employment and income generation.
Spiritual Formation & Christian Teaching
What makes this ministry unique is its strong spiritual foundation. Alongside skills training, we provide:
- Daily Bible Study sessions
- Teaching from the Holy Scriptures
- Instruction in Luther’s Small Catechism
Each training day includes a dedicated time where students gather to hear God’s Word, grow in faith, and learn the truth of the Gospel.
We believe that true transformation comes not only through skills, but through faith in Jesus Christ, who provides both daily bread and eternal life.
