About Our School

Jordan Surgical Hospital Non-Formal School is part of the educational ministry of the Confessional Evangelical Lutheran Church (CELC) Pakistan, providing educational support to children in communities with limited access to formal schooling.

Under the guidance of Mrs. Mariam Zeshan, 22 students receive foundational education in a warm, nurturing, and supportive environment.

This non-formal school focuses on basic literacy, numeracy, and character education, equipping students with essential knowledge and life skills. Many of the children come from underserved families, and this program ensures they have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

Students receive free stationery each month, helping remove barriers to education. Teachers encourage discipline, cooperation, and curiosity, creating a classroom environment that promotes respect and a love for learning.

A key feature of the school is spiritual education. Each day includes a Bible lesson, where children hear Bible stories and learn Christian values such as love, honesty, kindness, forgiveness, and compassion.

Through this ministry, the church seeks not only to educate children but also to bring hope, encouragement, and the love of Christ to families and communities.

Our Mission

The mission of CELC Non-Formal Schools is to:

  • Provide free education to disadvantaged children
  • Support orphans and children of widows
  • Teach strong moral and Christian values
  • Help children develop knowledge, confidence, and hope for the future

Through education and the teaching of God’s Word, we aim to empower children and strengthen communities for a brighter future.
