About Our School
New Hope Lutheran Non-Formal School is part of the educational ministry of the Confessional Evangelical Lutheran Church (CELC) Pakistan, providing learning opportunities for children in communities with limited access to formal education.
Under the guidance of Mrs. Safia Ghafoor, 26 students receive foundational education in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment.
The school emphasizes basic literacy, numeracy, and character development, helping children from underserved backgrounds gain essential knowledge and skills for their future.
Students are provided with free stationery each month, removing financial barriers and allowing them to focus on learning. Teachers cultivate a classroom atmosphere that encourages discipline, cooperation, and a love for learning.
Spiritual growth is also central to our program. Each school day includes a Bible lesson, where children hear Bible stories and learn Christian values such as love, honesty, kindness, forgiveness, and compassion.
Through this ministry, the church seeks not only to educate children but also to bring hope, encouragement, and the message of Christ’s love to families and communities.
Our Mission
The mission of CELC Non-Formal Schools is to:
- Provide free education to disadvantaged children
- Support orphans and children of widows
- Teach strong moral and Christian values
- Help children develop knowledge, confidence, and hope for the future
Through education and the teaching of God’s Word, we aim to empower children and strengthen communities for a brighter future.
