About Our School
Harappa Non-Formal School is part of the educational outreach ministry of the Confessional Evangelical Lutheran Church (CELC) Pakistan, serving children in communities where access to education is limited.
Under the dedicated guidance of Mrs. Nadia Waqas, approximately 28–30 students receive basic education in a caring and supportive learning environment.
The school focuses on providing basic literacy, numeracy, and character development, helping children build a strong educational foundation for their future. Many of the students come from families with limited financial resources, and this program helps ensure that they have the opportunity to learn and grow.
Students receive free stationery every month, which helps remove financial barriers to education. Teachers also encourage discipline, responsibility, and cooperation among students, creating a classroom environment that promotes respect and a love for learning.
In addition to academic learning, spiritual education plays an important role in the program. Each school day includes a Bible lesson, where children hear Bible stories and learn Christian values such as love, honesty, kindness, forgiveness, and compassion.
Through this ministry, the church seeks not only to provide education but also to bring hope, encouragement, and the message of Christ’s love to children and families in the community.
Our Mission
The mission of CELC Non-Formal Schools is to:
- Provide free education to disadvantaged children
- Support orphans and children of widows
- Teach strong moral and Christian values
- Help children develop knowledge, confidence, and hope for the future
Through education and the teaching of God’s Word, we aim to empower children and strengthen communities for a brighter future.
