Our ministry is devoted to the faithful proclamation of God’s Word, the proper teaching of Law and Gospel, and the strengthening of believers through Word and Sacrament. Through this ministry, we seek to bring sinners to repentance and to the comfort of the Gospel, where forgiveness, life, and salvation are freely given in Christ. Life in the Word Gathering Around Scripture and Prayer The Christian life is nourished through the hearing of God’s Word, as it is written:“Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ” (Romans 10:17). Serving in Times of Crisis with Christ’s Love During times of disaster, our mission is to respond with compassion, urgency, and the love of Christ. When devastating floods affected various parts of Pakistan, the Confessional Evangelical Lutheran Church (CELC) stepped forward to provide relief, support, and hope to those in need. Response to the 2025 Floods In 2025, Pakistan experienced one of the most severe floods in its history. Many families were displaced, losing their homes, livelihoods, and basic necessities. In response, CELC actively participated in relief efforts, serving affected communities with care and dedication. Relief Efforts in Kamalia and Rangpur Our relief work focused on Kamalia (District Pir Mahal) and Rangpur, where many families were severely impacted. A dedicated team of volunteers carried out the distribution, beginning with prayer and thanksgiving to God. Relief Items Distributed Essential supplies were distributed among affected families, including: These items provided immediate support to families struggling for food, shelter, and daily needs. Impact of the Ministry Through these efforts, over 700 families received assistance, bringing relief, comfort, and hope during a time of great hardship. Our Health Ministry is a vital outreach of the Church, serving communities with compassion, dignity, and the love of Christ. These medical camps are organized in collaboration with Jordan Surgical Hospital, Sahiwal, Pakistan, ensuring quality healthcare services for those in need. We are blessed to have a team of qualified, professional, and degree-holding medical staff, who generously offer their time and expertise to serve underserved communities. Their dedication allows us to provide reliable and compassionate medical care to all who attend. Each month, we organize medical camps in approximately 10 different areas, reaching over 1,000 patients.
